Kingston Blount Village Hall is run by the Hillwerke Recreational Trust, a charity registered in England and Wales, registered charity number: 279656. In this Privacy Statement references to “Kingston Blount Village Hall” and “the Hall” include all facilities available under the auspices of the Hillwerke Recreational Trust, namely the Main Hall, Committee Room, Playing Field and Car Park.
Preservation of your privacy is important to us and we are committed to letting you know how we use your personal information and to making only responsible use of your data.
References to “we”, “us” or “our” in this Privacy Policy are references to the Hillwerke Recreational Trust. We are committed to keeping your personal information in line with the Data Protection Act 1998 as amended 2003 and the General Data Protection Regulation 2018.
- Information about you
a. Bookings for the Hall are made using the Hallmaster online system. Personal information from you when you request to use the Hall facilities. This will include personal information such as your title, name, address and contact details.
b. As part of your booking you will be asked to create a user account where your personal details are held.
c. We will delete any records with your personal information from the Hallmaster system 7 years after your last booking. - Our use of this information
a. Your personal information will only be used for purposes of administering your booking for Kingston Blount Village Hall. This will be primarily for confirming your booking, invoicing you and contacting you regarding any queries.
b. We will not share your information with any outside parties. - Security
a. We will take reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of information you give us.
b. Communications about Hall will be made by telephone or sent by post or by e-mail or posted on our website. For ease of use and compatibility, communications will not be sent in an encrypted form. E-mail, unless encrypted, is not a fully secure means of communication. Whilst we endeavour to keep our systems and communications protected against viruses and other harmful effects, we cannot bear responsibility for all communications being virus-free. c. Correspondence sent via email to kbvhall@gmail.com will be held for a maximum of three years and will be purged on an annual basis.
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time and posted on the website. It will be reviewed annually.
